Very good food

Delicious food and very friendly staff.

As always it was delicious 😋, I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We were at La Polyp today for the first and last time. The boss was obviously completely overwhelmed and snapped at us twice for no reason.

I'm not someone who gives bad reviews carelessly ... But imagine it's a mild summer evening and you want to spend a nice evening with your family (5 people) at Italians. With these thoughts in mind, we got on our bikes and - with prior reservation - cycled to La Polyp. There we chose one of the free tables in the outdoor area and sat down. I then went in briefly to let them know and was immediately informed in a rather unfriendly manner that this would not work because the boss, apparently the only service person that evening, does not want to serve outside because she is afraid of a cold (at +26 ° C !!!). I then told my husband that, who then wanted to look for a solution with the said boss in a very friendly manner. He offered her to bring cards, drinks and food to the table herself. Thereupon she disgruntled her consent and also remarked that we must not move tables or chairs under any circumstances, which was never our intention. The whole situation then culminated in the fact that the boss was cursing behind the counter and clearly insulted us with "stupido". Then we left the restaurant immediately. Obviously one is no longer dependent on a turnover of over 100, - EUR. In the course of the evening, which turned out to be quite pleasant in another restaurant, we happened to talk to another couple about the decay, which was very similar at La Polyp. You were there with a larger group and when only some of the people had ordered something to eat, the second drink order was refused. So we weren't an isolated incident !!! No matter how good the food is (which we can't judge), if you feel so unwelcome, it's just not fun.

Ordered food to go. Freshly prepared despite the busy company. Tasted great and large portions. Vacation at home.

Food very delicious but incredibly long waits

The restaurant was known to me from earlier. That's why I was very excited. The menu on the Internet has already addressed me in advance. I found the salad and my pizza delicious. Pizza top is really delicious. Surely I will go back to taste the meat dishes or the day ticket. Highly recommended.

Delicious and good Italian food. Friendly service

We were thrilled, all dishes were absolutely fresh and delicious. Not to compare with the standard Italians, here is still freshly cooked. The service very attentive and friendly. We will come back in any case. From the antipasti plate over the main course to the dessert we can recommend everything without reservation.

The pizzas tasted very good, the service is just great. Since the choice of pizza is very difficult for me, I wanted a recommendation from her. The pizza we recommended was very good. The dessert was very good too. We'll be happy to go there again, not just because of the very good pizzas, but also because of the class service.

Always friendly and helpful with a good selection of nice food. They sell an English style beer but serve it straight from the fridge even though it says on the bottle to serve at room temperature so they are always willing to warm mine in the coffee machine for a few minutes before serving :-) Not sure if it is permanent but on our last visit they had stopped accepting cards as payment, so take cash just in case.

Nice place, nice atmosphere. Service is a little slow abd parking can be a little complicated on busy nights.
